Guarding the Moon

This is my account of my first year as a mom. It is a love letter to my baby Jasmine who is now 10. One online review said she thought I was mentally unstable. Wow, I admire full-time memoir writers;you can't hide behind the fiction. I am proud of this book because it exposes the pains and joys of being a mom and it is my gift to Jasmine. I hope you enjoy it, especially you new or soon-to-be moms. Love flb

I am not a mom nor planning on becoming one (anytime soon, that is), but I just have to say that this is the most beautiful, sweet idea in the world. Your daughter is extremely lucky. Hooray for all of the courageous, loving mothers out there! And yes, what a perfect gift for all of the new mammas out there :)

So what does a middle age guy bring to the first baby shower/party that he has ever been invited to, a party given by a friend who has finally conceived with her husband after having tried without much success for a long time, a party that asks of its guests not to bring gifts? This wonderful book of yours, of course.
